The program starts on March 8, 2024 and ends on May 19, 2024. It lasts for 10 weeks. 

While there is no strict minimum commitment required, we encourage children to attend as many workshops and games as possible to maximize their learning and enjoyment.

In the spirit of empowerment, kids have the freedom to select parks or playgrounds where they can play at no cost. We regularly inform families about the public spaces available in their neighborhoods. Pickup Sports does not take responsibility or charge for the for the public spaces kids play in. 

Workshops and games typically take place once a week, allowing for consistent engagement and skill development over the course of the program. The program is flexible, and games schedules are based on convenience. Specific dates and times for the workshops are provided upon enrollment.

Yes, definitely! We encourage kids to rally their friends and neighbors to join the program together. It's a fantastic opportunity to strengthen bonds and enjoy sports as a community.

Absolutely! Parents play a supportive role in our program, assisting kids in organizing games and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. While the primary focus is on kids taking the lead, we value the collaborative effort of parents in creating a positive experience.

No, it's not a drop-off camp! We firmly believe in the idea that kids have a blast when their parents are around. The end-of-game playoffs, where kids go head-to-head with their parents, are consistently a big hit!

Children earn prizes by accumulating points through various activities such as organizing games, demonstrating leadership skills, and participating in challenges. Points are tallied throughout the program, and prizes are awarded based on performance and participation.

The price is $10 per month, for 6 months. The 6 months include the current Kids In Charge Leadership Program for 10 weeks + All Summer Pickup Sports programming.

The program price includes access to all workshops, games, and activities, as well as any necessary equipment or materials. It also covers administrative costs and any additional resources provided to enhance the overall experience. 

Please note: We do not take money for kids to play in public spaces. 

There are no additional fees or expenses beyond the program price. However, families may incur costs for optional extras such as transportation to and from games or special events.
